A few of my favorite knitting books.

I was 13. I was bored out my mind one day, and looking about for something to do when I saw a knitting book that my mom had got me when I was 8. I had tried it back then, but gave up. So I tried again. And I got it!

That book was Knitting: Learn to Knit Six Great Projects. I had fun and knitted everything except the scarf.

After itching for new patterns for a month, I finally saved enough money to get Teen Knitting Club: Chill Out and Knit. I didn’t really do much of the patterns, but that was only because I didn’t have enough money to get yarn to do them.

I checked out the local knitting store, and found meny other gems. Later on I also got Knitgrrl 2: Learn to Knit with 16 All-New Patterns. I devoured that book like that addict I was. I still am!

Next time I’ll be posting and bunch of websites that have lots of free patterns. So stay tuned!
